Lydia Hagen, 20, was training for a marathon in spring 2019 when she injured her hip and found herself unable to run anymore.
Years of hard work seemed to be gone in a matter of seconds. She knew that nothing could ever come close to her passion for running, but began exploring other options to keep her active.
She found solace in riding her bike, but still struggled with pain in her hip.
She found the physical and mental rest she sought after in swimming.
Lydia is now regaining her strength in the water and winning back her confidence through swimming.
